Firstly, we hope that this email finds you all in excellent health and not suffering too much from office parties or freezing temperatures! It is nigh on impossible for us here in Zanzibar to imagine frosty Europe, chilly States or indeed anything except for our current high humidity and soaring temperatures. Well, OK, the grass is always greener and from where many of you are sitting, you are probably longing for our humid hot conditions! It has been a fun filled and successful year for Chumbe Island. The beauty of the Island itself is relentless and with the improved facilities in terms of comfort and relaxation areas for guests on the island, many a visitor continues to be spell-bound and inspired by this pristine wilderness and unique eco-project. The staff teams in both the office and the island are flourishing and content (if a little weary as the final week of Ramadan fasting takes its toll).
